Thanks for the site for his biography. I can understand how sometimes admirers tend to extol their idols beyond what they really did. Mr. Gauvin obviously believed that's what happened with Christ and I think that's what happened to Mr. Gauvin's biography.

I scanned and noticed that it was stated that he had a stroke and suffered 4 months of helplessness before he died but near the end of the piece, the writer wrote that he still managed to write and revise works for publication up to the eve of his death.

Yes, it would really be tough to get an absolutely unbiased view on pretty much everything - religious bias or non-religious bias, that is. As for idols, well, yes, I guess the writer really had a high regard towards Mr. Gauvin; perhaps as high as the regard by Christians to Christ.

Oh well, I guess such things, sometimes we just have to take them with a grain of salt.

With regards to the guy's last dying efforts, isn't that a miracle?
