mga 6 pm dito (11 pm sa pinas) nung mag isa lang daw si tita sa flat nila sa may kusina at nagluluto sya ng makakain nya biglang parang may tumawag daw sa kanya dun sa may sala at nakakita rin sya ng anino na parang umupo sa may sala nila. ang akala nya e yong isang border nila pero sa pagkakaalam nya e may mga pasok lahat at 9 pm pa lahat magdadatingan. di daw nya pinansin yun pero naulit ulit at nakarinig daw sya ng "mommy, mommy halika" .....boses daw yun ng anak nyang lalaki at aninag daw nya yong anino na tumatawag sa kanya na nasa sala na parang naka upo sa may sofa. Nung una ay sinagot nya ng yes...nagluluto ako pero naulit daw yun at talagang boses ng anak nya ang narinig.

kinilabutan daw sya at parang tumayo daw lahat ng buhok nya sa katawan. di nya alam ang gagawin at ng biglang natauhan e tumakbo sya sa sala pero walang tao.

after 5 mins na naka upo sya sa sofa ay biglang may tumawag sa celfone nya.....ang anak nyang panganay na babae at umiiyak. Ipinaalam nya na "dead-on-arrival" ang kapatid nyang lalaki dahil inatake sa sakit nya sa puso at diabetic din kasi sya. hindi sya makapaniwala dahil isang oras pa lang ang nakakalipas nung matapos silang mag text na dalawa. Dun na lang nya na realize na nung araw lang na yun ay nag i love u ng nag i love you ang bata at nagpasalamat daw sa ina.

The Photograph With a Dead Grandmother

When Ava celebrated her 22nd birthday a few years ago, she decided to take a couple of pictures together with her well-wishers.

When the film was printed, Ava saw a woman behind the sofa where she and her best friend Mara was photographed.
Their other friend Pam, who was the one who took the photograph, was sure that there were only two people sitting on the sofa when she took the picture.

Five days after her birthday, Ava was stabbed to death by a snatcher who failed to steal her mobile phone.

When her mother collected the mementos in her condominium in Manila, she saw the picture of Ava, Mara and the mysterious woman standing behind the couch. She recognized the woman at once. She was one of her aunties who died 27 years ago or five years before Ava was born.

The Ozone Disco

The Ozone Disco burned in March 18, 1996 and hundreds of teen-agers died in that tragic incident. The disco located in Quezon City had no fire exit and fire alarm. Because the sounds were very loud, no one noticed – not even the DJs and bouncers - that there was something wrong in the disco’s electrical wirings so they continued the merrymaking.

When the wires on the ceiling sparked, everybody thought it was part of the disco’s effects, but when an explosion ripped through the room - the lights went out and the ceiling collapsed - everybody knew that something was terribly wrong.

The popular disco, with its 50-square meter dance floor, had a permit for only 50 patrons. But it had about 40 employees and its logbook showed 350 people had gone in and out the night of the fire. Because of the thick smoke, the whole place became dark and everybody panicked. They rushed for the lone, wooden front door, but it would not open -- some witnesses later claimed the guard had locked it. When it was forced to open, a back draft created a fireball that burned everyone in its path. Firefighters arrived at 12:05 a.m., a full half hour after the blaze started.

Before the last of the would-be-survivors could go out, at least 150 people – many of them teenagers celebrating their graduation from high school – had died. More than 100 others were badly burned. A couple more were missing.

It was one of the Philippines' deadliest fire in 50 years.

Those who lived to tell the horrific tale experienced severe burns all over their body. Some of them don’t want to come out in public anymore due to extreme loss of self-esteem.

Today, there are a lot of reported ghostly apparitions on the place where the tragedy happened. Rene Mariano, Frank Regis, Tony Perez and Jaime Licauco are some of the paranormal experts who have at-*test*-('")ed that there are still some spirits roaming on the former disco house.

Tony Perez and his famous “Spirit Questors” made a series of quests in the area in 1997. He claimed his group was able to convince some of the bothered spirits to “move on” – move to another dimension, where spirits like them should be, but he cautioned the curious onlookers that there were some spirits who chose to stay. “Many still remain, mostly because they are concerned for the welfare of their loved ones, who are still grieving. Unless the living learn to let go, the spirits will stay in the disco and will not find peace.” He ends.

Up to this day, passers-by report strange noises and sightings. Investigators, grieving relatives and friends of the victims say they have seen apparitions. Some of the pictures taken by curious people appear to show floating, whitish figures.

The Manila Film Center

The Manila Film Center was built to serve as the venue of an International Film Festival that was going to be held in Manila sometime in 1981. It was a rush project that needed manpower for 24-hours a day just to complete the grand building over a period of only 10 months.

Former first lady Imelda Marcos’ noble plan was railroaded when a portion of the second floor collapsed and buried a number of workers in the lower level.


Instead of exhuming the bodies from the debris one by one, reports say the corpses were just covered with quick drying concrete to save time.

Work continued after the accident and the Center was inaugurated in time for the festival, although parts of the theater were not yet completed and the concrete topping of the driveway had not set.
After the big launch, no other grand event was held. Some of the ghosts have apparently been spooking guests of nearby buildings.

One of the famous stories about the place was about a stranger who approached a passer-by, gave him a piece of paper with his landline written on it and asked the passerby to call his (the stranger’s) family. He asked him to tell his family he was all right, but “going away.” When the passer-by made the call to the stranger’s family, a startled voice explained that the stranger was dead – he was one of those who died in the film center tragedy.

According to Tony Perez and his Spirit Questors, 169 workers were abandoned in the building after the scaffoldings collapsed on Nov. 17, 1981. Attempts to remove the bodies were reportedly halted by then Metro Manila Governor Imelda Marcos because she wanted to ensure the building would open in time for the Manila International Film Festival.

A few years ago, more than 80 of Perez’s questors gathered at the center. After sacrificing a rooster on the front steps, they moved inside for a candlelit séance. In the middle of the quiet night, some of them heard noises of construction work.

According to one of the group’s mediums, at least 30 "very angry" spirits complained that their bodies had not been given a proper burial. “Bakit Minadali?” asks one of the construction workers – who entered in the “circle of light” of the questors - who perished in the tragedy more than 23 years ago. Some of those who were able to talk to the questors agreed to “move on,” but there were some who chose to stay.

Up to this day, a number of people who pass by the area confess they still hear unusual sounds coming from the building.

The former first lady is still firm in her stand that she had no knowledge of bodies being abandoned in the building.
