kahit nde dumating sa pinas si mcarthur, the Japanese would have still surrendered to the US (dahil sa A bombs that were dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki).

As much as I love Japan, it's people, it's culture, and those addictive sushi, I think filipinos will end-up a second rate citizen in their own countries just like any other colonised countries in the world. For one exception. Hong Kong. *shrug* Luck?

I agree... under Japan, Philippines could have been a technologically advanced country, but, will the filipinos be treated as an equal citizen?

It would be funny to think about Philippines becoming a part of Japan.We surely would have been high-tech and advanced as of today.The impact Japan would have had to us is exactly the impact that America has had to Hawaii and the UK to South Africa. A huge percentage of our people today would have been Japanese.They will dominate everything and most of us Filipinos will be living in provinces and be entertaining tourists about our culture etc. and our culture and mentality would have had a Japanese blending.
