im my opinion, the PMA is actually one of the hardest and best schools in the Philippines. besides having standards that are exceptional, you also have to go through a lot of physicals (aside from having to endure the almost daily beatings from your upper classmen).

1. Admu
2. UP
3. Lasalle
4. UST
5. AIM
6. Poveda
7. Xavier/Ica
8. UA&P
9. Mapua
10. PMA

11. St Louis for provincial Luzon
12. UPLB for provicial Luzon
13. Siliman University for the Visayas
14. Ateneo de Davao for Mindanao
15. That new Maritime School in Bataan for sailors and seamen. I forgot the name though.

PMA is a military school, and it's not a multidisciplinary school... The topic here refers to the best multidisciplinary and general education universities... tambayan/zwaai.gif tambayan/033102bigangry_1_prv.gif

[QUOTE=ISKA_PO,May 28, 2006 10:17 pm] according to my preference:

tambayan/multi.gif university of the philippines-diliman (i'm biase. yes. this is my school)
tambayan/multi.gif ateneo de manila university (good school if you opt to take law and management)
tambayan/multi.gif dela salle university-manila (good school if you want to take-up accountancy and better school if you opt to take management
tambayan/multi.gif university of santo tomas (medicine and music at it's finest)
tambayan/multi.gif dela salle-college of st. benilde (good school if you are a talented person)
tambayan/multi.gif asian institute of management (good school and one helluva tuition fee)
tambayan/multi.gif center for culinary arts (what can i say? the name speaks for itself)
tambayan/multi.gif far eastern university (some students do excel)
tambayan/multi.gif university of the east (dentistry is their specialty)
tambayan/multi.gif philippine normal university (they breed the best teachers)

actually, this may be a bit out of the topic but there's really no point in school bashing here. every school has their own specialty. and when you start to work, let's see where your school will take you. tambayan/coffee-drinker.gif

I AGREE. tambayan/multi.gif

Ba't ba pinapasa yan.

Sir/Mam:

I think nasa estudyante po yan at wala sa school and the real world is after you graduate !

Some were graduates of good schools but where are they now ? some of them doesn't even have a job or they can't find the righ job for them.

I came from 3 different schools and these are my observations.

PMA - I can't complain because I don't have a choice my parents doesn't have the money to support my studies.

DLSU-M - Masters in Business Management - I was trained to be a better man and more sociable.

UP Diliman - Masters in Public Administration (Present) - Honestly I like DLSU better since most (not all) of my classmates/teachers here thought that they are the best, no offense to the people here from UP but tama yung sinabi ng isa na masyadong bilib sa sarili nila.

These are my opinions based on my personal experiences and I do hope you will not take it personally.

Thank you.
