of course, i did...

actually i met this guy, after college, so mature na ako, and we have a good talk about muslims, then nanligaw siya sa akin, well, at least honest kayo, at hindi makulit.

yeah you know that's one good point of being a muslim. i mean you don't need to be a criminal in everyone's eyes dahil sa pangangaliwa.
QUOTE

totoo ba?at yung nakakapag-asawa lang daw ng more than one, is yung kayang mag-sustento,  kung ganoon ba ang set-up nila, and all parties ay maligaya, what can I say, i supposed that there should be more than what i need to know.

yup.. as long as kayang sustentuhan ng lalaki yung mga pamilya nya. and i'd say the decision of the first wife matters a lot. i mean, if she doesn't agree to be an another wife, she can object.

but in my case, i wouldn't want my husband to marry another girl. it would be sucha a nightmare for me thinking those times he's with another girl. who wants that anyway? i can't bare that. hehehe. yeah selfish i am, but i guess, i'm just getting selfish when it comes to love. biggrin.gif
QUOTE

i don't mind knowing more about other culture, it 's just the way it is.

you know it's so flattering that someone like you wants to know more about my religion. i mean we can hardly find ones who are interested to get to know islam more, with the images associated with the islam religion. keep that up.

i am a muslim. and yeah it's hard for me to have that harmonious relationship with people of different faith as mine. with those negative images that go with the islam religion, it's kinda hard. the sad thing is they (especially the media) are associating terrorism with Islam which for me kinda suck. i mean everyone is capable of terrorism, i mean either you are a muslim or a christian or whatever religion you have. and those terrorists, they are only claiming as muslims. for me they are far from being muslims. which is unfair to the whole muslim humanity. nadadamay kaming mga inosente.

but i am happy though that i am with a circle which accepts me for what i am, who i am. since high school i grew up with friends of different faith as mine. i mean here in our place, the hostility between muslims and christians is still there but the good thing is we are trying to live with each other with such harmony.

matanong lang po,ur born muslim?

Muslim din ako ( Balik Islam )

Tama ka jan sa mga sinasabi mo tambayan/thmbup.gif

i am born muslim. both my parents are maranaos.

wow! it's good to know i have a fellow muslim here. where are you from?

Thanks for educating, see people......

Si Dolphy, si FPJ, si Erap, at marami pa, diba, let us face it, maraming babae kahit na alam na may asawa ay talagang pumapatol, for whatever reason, for money or power, kung si Bill Clinton or kung sino pang powerful or rich man, o kung kayang magsustento ng isa pang asawa, nagpapakamatay ang mga babae diyan, at let us face the facts, ang daming mistress sa atin. And as what you mentioned about the agreements, the wife has to agree or consulted, so it bring open to all involved, so walang masasaktan or guilt, if this is what they choose to live. So, i supposed everyone will be happy. And it doesn't apply to everyone, anyway, so it is still an individual choice, so it is not suggested, this kind of lifestyle is for everyone.

And I know, Bin Ladin used your religion, that is the sad thing na maaapektuhan kayo. Just remember, that your happiness in life won't be based on other people's opinion.

This proves true again, that religion develops it's own style to suit the interest of the believers. As we know, how many types of christianity has been developed through out thousand of years, right?
Bin Ladin has modify his own style of belief to justify his cause.

Skygazer- 04-24-2004
allow me unix to post this please...

Just to prove how religions had been developed and continue to develop it's own style.. here is the sample of christianity. so as Islamic, buddism, etc. , they changed a little bit of here and there... -------

muslim and christ based religion came from the same origin

as for the ather religions, as long as they preach goodness and respect

doesnt matter how they call themselves

just try to live harmoniosly to your fellowmen

no matter whom they worshipped!

al hamdon alillah!

You just said it all for us. Thanks.. he he he..

all religions must have their own shortcomings too.

so if it does makes a difference in your life, and it's working just fine and happy with it, you will be always respected.

Just be careful not to fall into extereme to the point of losing your freedom of judgement .

Thanks, Justreal. We also learned from you. he heh e.. I supposed we all learn from each other.

I'm starting to know some of the members here, reading some of the post outside of this category. I discovered that most of the members of pinoyforum are also members here, maybe some didn't keep the same name. so I am not new afterall. If two months in pinoyforum is old, maybe I am also the veteran. he he he..

I'm just more politically active on PF. I noticed that in PF , marami doong born again christians, kaya patay ang thread ko kaagad. he hehe...

Its good that you are standing firm and strong for your faith and doing your part on righting a common stereotype and I truly commend you for that. smile.gif
