tambayan/thmbup.gif  I prefer action rather than words..
Sometimes people who are always going to church are the ones who are matapobre, madamot etc...  tambayan/Thumbs_Down.gif  and the one who are teaching the good news are the ones breaking the 10 commandments.. I guess that's the irony of life... tambayan/4_6_2v.gif

This is only my opinion okay? of course, not all believers, what I noticed that some can be too judgemental of other people, as I mentioned it is their training, probably, the knowledge that they acquired about judgement day, and the they believed in the presence of devils. Also, some may think that they are the only righteous, again, it is their training, Jesus said, I am the only truth, the way, and the life. So, take the whole context out of that, seems that christianity is the only right religion.

Someone comment about this, "Tell me what is your religion and I will tell who you are." There could be some truth in that, all our actions starts with a "Thought", but what is most important is how do we apply those at the end.
In what I believed is tolerance, the acceptance of the world "As it is." With this training, it is easy to understand and accept just the way people are, without agreeing to what they believe. We are just all indiviruals, and I don't perceive that I am better than anyone.

Again, we mentioned about putting those words into actions. And I prefer to have an effective technique how to avoid sins, that works for me. SIns in other words for me is an extreme emotions thrown into a situation.

This last ten decade,we had heard alot of scandals about priest all over the world, you are right, all their lives, they been using words, and some forget to put those into application. I guess, may mga pangangailangan din sila, "spirit is willing but the flesh is weak.
We mentioned before what praying does, it serves some good effect like a positive and wishfull thinking, it is also like self-hypnosis. Probabaly, I don't think, it would work effectively for me, still that would be a struggle for me not to commit sins, not directly the 10 commandments, but day to day living, eg. isn't it, pag-isipan ng masama ang isang tao, ay kasalan din?

We have to find a techniques that will work best for that individual. I'm greatful that I found one that works for me, self-enlightening, meditation.

i am a muslim. and yeah it's hard for me to have that harmonious relationship with people of different faith as mine. with those negative images that go with the islam religion, it's kinda hard. the sad thing is they (especially the media) are associating terrorism with Islam which for me kinda suck. i mean everyone is capable of terrorism, i mean either you are a muslim or a christian or whatever religion you have. and those terrorists, they are only claiming as muslims. for me they are far from being muslims. which is unfair to the whole muslim humanity. nadadamay kaming mga inosente.

but i am happy though that i am with a circle which accepts me for what i am, who i am. since high school i grew up with friends of different faith as mine. i mean here in our place, the hostility between muslims and christians is still there but the good thing is we are trying to live with each other with such harmony.

i agree with you..coz im a muslim too..

Islam is a very good religion and all other religions as well...it's just that, as in any other religions, there are these what we call the fanatics who are the ones destroying the image of those religions...like in our muslim brothers, the Abu Sayyaff and other terrorists organizations, they are using Islam as their cause to justify their actions.

i am surrounded with muslim colleagues here in our company and none of them favored the actions of this muslim terrorists....and as seek onto their religion, i found out that is all about peace. And for them, Christianity is the near to their hearts because Jesus is their prophet also....and they also venerate (honor/respect) Mary..

the problem with other people, if they see one bad catholic/muslim/hindu or any religion for that matter, they will generalize that all are the same and they blame it on the religion....

I believe that no religion teaches a person to be bad...it's that person who uses religion for his bad intention that is bad...

Meron akong naging trainee, isang Egyptian, Muslim din sya. Mabait at napaka-relehiyosa. Kelangan nga namin mag-break kasi may dasal sya every 12pm and 3pm. Tinanong ko sya kung ano dinadasal nya, about Mary daw. smile.gif Kagaya din pala sila ng Katoliko na may respect kay Mother Mary. At naniniwala din pala sila sa second coming ni Jesus Christ tambayan/spoton.gif

Jesus is mentioned more than Prophet Mohammad in Koran.

One of my best friends in Singapore is a Muslim.

I'm a Catholic(a free thinking catholic, not the fundamentalist) by the way

I am a Roman Catholic influenced greatly by a Christian school. I believe it's better to be a Christian (read : one who believes in Jesus Christ, period.) nalang kasi pag may distinct religion ka, you tend to look down on others' religion and this poses a problem.

I've heard of Protestant schools discriminating the Catholics. I've heard a Catholic priest during a sermon saying that Catholicism is the one true and supreme religion. Geez. I thought God told us to love one another and be unified..
