What is your religion? Does it affects your relationship with other people with different faith?

I am a protestant. I don't really mind at all.. Basta alam mo ang tama at mali.. at syempre more on tama ang ginagawa mo...

i dunno, whenever im taking to girls and they ask my religion i say atheist. for some odd reason they see me as a different person all of a sudden *sigh* i guess i should really say im a christian, might be able to get some

Some people will say let our conscience be our guide. It's like your saying let our awareness of a moral or ethical aspect to conduct with our urge to prefer right over wrong.

I experciencd this when I am scattered noong araw, kahit alam mo kung ano ang tama at mali, i still fall into doing the wrong things, kaya ang mga kabataan ngayon , sabi nila alam na nilang lahat, para ako rin noong araw.... he he he.... kaya cool lang ako sa mga anak ko.

Our spirit is willing but the flesh is weak. it is not easy to do it, right? Awareness of my emotions helps me alot , so meditations is great. even for few minutes. It's hard to do it at home to have a full concentration, camps are good, totally serene and silence, it's easy to do the proper way, wish i will find time to go there again this year.

i am a muslim. and yeah it's hard for me to have that harmonious relationship with people of different faith as mine. with those negative images that go with the islam religion, it's kinda hard. the sad thing is they (especially the media) are associating terrorism with Islam which for me kinda suck. i mean everyone is capable of terrorism, i mean either you are a muslim or a christian or whatever religion you have. and those terrorists, they are only claiming as muslims. for me they are far from being muslims. which is unfair to the whole muslim humanity. nadadamay kaming mga inosente.

but i am happy though that i am with a circle which accepts me for what i am, who i am. since high school i grew up with friends of different faith as mine. i mean here in our place, the hostility between muslims and christians is still there but the good thing is we are trying to live with each other with such harmony.

Just remember, you can make a difference on how you present yourself. it's unfair, but sometimes you need to proved yourself that you are you, and make an extra effort to prove something and not what they think of.
It's also like racism too, so I know, how it would be.

I would admit, merong nanligaw sa aking muslim when I was in high school, well, he is good looking and laging nililibre yung mga kaibigan ko sa restuarant nila, alam kong muslim, ayaw na ayaw ko nga, alam mo naman yung mga relihiyoso na catholico noong araw pa, ang tingin sa muslim weird.

So, i was one of those ignorant noong araw, we all change, and I feel sorry for that guy, dahil kung hindi lang siya muslim, baka naging siyota ko siya... he hehe...

hindi kasi tayo sabay sabay na ipinagnanak, we have different level of accumulated knowledge, kaya umintindi na lang ang nakakaintidi.

oh yeah racism. on the other message board i also belong to, there was a member (a co-Filipino) who said 'i was surprised that there are many muslims here (that board)' because she thought maybe that muslims don't socialize like everyone do. they even thought of us as serious people and even sinful creatures! my arse. so what i did was discuss things with her. buti na lang ang malinaw. she said i had changed her impressions on muslims. well at least... and i am glad we became good friends now.

yeah i know some cases like that. discrimination. argh.

actually i met this guy, after college, so mature na ako, and we have a good talk about muslims, then nanligaw siya sa akin, well, at least honest kayo, at hindi makulit.

I would admit there's some truth in it. kasi sa totoo lang ang daming nagkakabit sa atin, lalo na yung mga may pera, and we can't deny it, ang dami kong kakilala na pumapatol sa mga may asawa na ngayon. Then yung iba they condem, na ganito ang mga muslim, eh sa totoo lang, it's happening everywhere, kahit na nga sa hollywood, diba....

totoo ba?at yung nakakapag-asawa lang daw ng more than one, is yung kayang mag-sustento, kung ganoon ba ang set-up nila, and all parties ay maligaya, what can I say, i supposed that there should be more than what i need to know.

i don't mind knowing more about other culture, it 's just the way it is.

I am protestant while my honeyko and children are catholic...I attend mass with them..it's no big deal.

Ok lang, as long as tama ang ginagawa niya which is more Christ-like than other Christians do.. ke anong pinaniniwalaan mo pa basta wala kang ginagawang masama sa kapwa mo.. ok sakin yun.. and FYI, I treat priest pastors and other religious leaders as common people.. We are all created equal! That's why I HATE racists!
