me ito lang pinagtestan ko: engineering ang kuha ko
1) UP Diliman - my father's choice and like most homes, his word is pretty much the law. 2) De La Salle University - my choice 3) Ateneo De Manila University - my dad's choice is Up and ADMU is near there, it would be ideal for jas and me to have schools near each other. I pleaded with my dad to let me take the tests for UST and Mapua... both are not good enough for him... he said if I didn't pass the three schools: "wag na akong mag-aral"... didn't know whether to be frightened (panganay ako with my schoolmates not doing well with entrance exams) or flattered. I believe that if you have the money try to get your son/s or daughter/s into DLSU or ADMU... di lang academics ang turo pati formation ng ugali meron din... lalo na kundi science ang course niya/nila. though of course UP excels at Fine Arts. -------------------- Anyone who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new. - Albert Einstein.

Kung ganoun, napakawalangkakwentakwenta ko talaga nang hindi ko tinuloy ang pol.sci sa UP Dilliman...and opted to take up engineering instead sa Cebu dahil ang layo sa Maynila....sana rebelde na ako ngayon.
Pero pag nasa trabaho ka na...wala nang top 10 schools....sari-sariling diskarte na. -------------------- I drink, I smoke and had casual sex.... But I'm not a bad guy, Hitler is the bad guy |

ganun naman talaga yun eh... mahirap pumasok sa UP if you're competing with 80,000 others... and it's even harder to stay in the university

ganon ba. sino ba yang nagsabi sa 'yo sa mga figures mo (80,000)...baka nga more pa. i agree sa statement mo, that is competetive school. however, may quota-quota ng bawat UP locations....AT ng bawat course. may priviledge pa kung tatay/nanay mo eh nagtatrabaho sa UP. cut na yon sa mga 80,000 competitors. siguro, mostly(hindi ko lalahatin) ng school/university/college, may lagay(kung papasok ka)......hindi exception ang UP. tanungin nyo sa akin anong branch ng UP(Naku, kung alam nyo lang...bumagsak ang tingin ko sa UP excuse me ha twisted and freyja, even kreditkard...sa akin pananaw at sa looban)nalalagayan. I took UPCAT century ago , mali ko lang dapat yung malaking quota course(e sukat ka naman 7-yr Med yung kinuha ko course ...kapal noh?hehehe and Bio). 2 lang ang inapply ko nuon- Diliman and Manila.Nagalit pa ang nanay ko kasi hindi ko raw inapply sa Los Banos...eh ayoko nga eh! Taga Laguna ka nga (nuon), baguhin ko naman ang scenery  I took all college entrances (UP,DelaSalle,UST,PLM) sa mga universities and i passed...yun lang sa UP, i didn't pass the quota. Tapos, i passed NMAT but hindi ko na tinuloy kasi gusto kong kumita agad,hehehe Well,..it was my history. Hats-off ako kay walangkakwentakwenta. You have a guts to turn back sa UP Pol Sci pa!... future Lawyer in Philippines and politician siguro...  Freyja and Kreditkard - bow sa 'yo Twisted....

 ...pero ...mostly university naman if you love your course and talagang pursido ka makatapos. Yan ang buhay ng studyante. i'm sure you will be fine For Admi....sorry po, OT na naman ako. ayyy... di ako taga-up pero same as u I didn't pass the engineering qouta mga .02 nalng difference... oh well...

No...you don't have to...I'm a jerk.....ang dami kong mga oppurtunities na sinayang....full scholarship sa Mapua....sa PMA(dahil lagpak ako sa physical dahil naputukan ang kamay ko ng firecrackers) at sa iba pang univ sa Pinas.... Actually, pasa ako sa tatlo(tatlo ang choices di ba?) dilliman, los banos at saka Cebu, I dunno kung anong decision ko at that time and I ended up sa University of San Carlos....well,,,USC is not bad at all, I think sa engineering top ten din specially sa EE at CHEe....either number 1 or number 2.....but as I said...sa trabaho, wala na yang school na school na yan....pagalingan na sa sarili...lalu na sa ibang bansa at ang competitions mo ay galing sa mga Ivy schools.. -------------------- I drink, I smoke and had casual sex.... ....hanep!!! galeng...PMA pa ,even full scholar sa Mapua for engineer  ok lang,...pinag-uusapan eh school...not anong nangyari sa buhay mo,hehehe..iba ng thread OT rin ako ehalam ko UP 2 choices lang eh....sorry ha, it was my century nun.
