Among countless stars, is Earth the only planet blessed with life? Is this some miracle by chance, never to be reproduced on another world?

Pls share your thoughts and ideas about this.

hmmm... parang narinig ko lang haa... sabi nila Mars daw ang may pinaka mejo malapit lapit ang pagkaka hawig sa earth..not sa looks..but pede daw matirhan dun ewan lang ha....

In 399 b.c., the great philosopher Socrates was accused of not believing in the gods in which the state believed. He was tried and found guilty of corrupting Athenian youth and religious heresy.

He was sentenced and put to death by the use of a poison he chose to ingest. Galileo was warned not to defend Copernican Astronomy because it went against the doctrine of the church. In 1616, the Roman Catholic Church demanded that Galileo stop teaching the theory that the sun was at the center of the cosmos and everything revolved around it.

The belief at that time was that the Earth was the center and the sun (and everything else) revolved around the Earth. Galileo was eventually hauled before the Catholic Inquisition and condemned to house arrest, for life. After 10 years, he died while still under house arrest.

We know today of course, that Galileo was indeed (more or less) correct. Thoughout history people have been unjustly ridiculed, harassed, and even severely punished for their views and ideas that didn't seem to quite fit in with the current socially accepted beliefs. Are we arrogant to assume that man is the only intelligent life out there? We think so.

Over the past 8 years, we have spent much of our time privately researching this subject, (which is sometimes a hard subject to research, when considering that most people do not feel comfortable publicly sharing their experiences). Although most polls show that the majority of the population believes that the governments are hiding what they know about worldly visitors, the general attitude towards this subject is often one of total disbelief and ridicule.

Military Facility, Social Phenomenon and State of Mind

Area 51, also known as Groom Lake, is a secret military facility about 90 miles north of Las Vegas. The number refers to a 6-by-10-mile block of land, at the center of which is a large air base the government will not discuss. The site was selected in the mid-1950s for testing of the U-2 spyplane, due to its remoteness, proximity to existing facilities and presence of a dry lake bed for landings. Groom Lake is America's traditional testing ground for "black budget" aircraft before they are publicly acknowledged.

The facility and surrounding areas are also associated -- with varying levels of credibility -- with UFO and conspiracy stories. In 1989, Bob Lazar claimed on a Las Vegas television station that he had worked with alien spacecraft at Papoose Lake, south of Area 51. Since then, "Area 51" has become a popular symbol for the alleged U.S. Government UFO cover-up.

Sa sarili kong pananaw eh may mga kasama pa tayo sa ating solar system... What I mean is that it is not only 9 planets maaring mayroon pang ibang planets sa ating solar system na di lang natin matanaw o nadidiskubre pa... and maybe one of these planets ay may mga living things na kagaya sa Earth. I read from some books before that the nearest star we have is Alpha Centauri and it is millions or billions of light years away,. (please correct me if I'm wrong).
well even if it is just a thousand of light years away.. deym that's still very far..

They said that light travels at 186,282 miles per second (read this in a book.) that's too damn fast...... now imagine how far you can travel for a minute.. thats 186,282 x 60 right?...that's just a minute.. now you multilply that by 60 again to see how far you can go in an hour and then multilply it by 24 to get your day and and then by 365 to get a lightyear.. deym!!!!

so you see even for a thousands of light years away that's too damn far... now imagine all that space between..... you still think we're alone?

The specific encounter I am describing is not my first but I would not like to remember my previous abductions but to describe one specific abduction that occured when I was 17. After I completed an ROTC pilot training course, I was on my way home. About that time I noticed a glowing object.The time was aproximately 8:30. As this wasn't my first encounter, I assumed it was a UFO. As I was staring at it from my car, I suddenly got out to view it.

I was viewing the object for quite some time until I saw it drop down and land somewhere in the woods. I was then scared to further investigate, so I ran back to my car and for some reason it would not start. I was about to walk down the road when I saw 4-5 figures emerge out of the woods. I was shocked and frightened. I did nothing but stare at the figures as they came closer until they came in my car and took me in their ship. Inside it was pitch black and there was a screen on one wall and a chair right in front of it.

They placed me in the chair and put some sort of drill in my nose and then checked my eyes with some sort of a metalic device that had a blue light. After they were done examining me they told me that I would not be harmed and I can return to my car. Before they took me away I asked "who or what are you?" The same voice responded telepathically, "We are from the future.

We travel back in time to get organs from humans before we evolve because our planet is dying." After that I was taken to my car and I asked, "What happened at Roswell?" Another voice told me telepathically that the government did recover a spaceship and they are not working with us but trying to manipulate us into helping them. Since then, I haven't been able to sleep well and I have paranioa and was placed in a mental hospital on three different occasions.
