As a beginer, you have to be very careful since there is a big dancer that you might be injured. You must also wear very warm clothing lalo na kapag di ka sanay sa malamig. The equipment is not very cheap. They usually cost a lot. You will also need sunglasses or goggles. Sun cream and winter cream will be needed as well!!!

When I was in Austria, many beginners who just skied without even having experience with no skiing lessons or instructor landed in the hospital, they broke their legs. Skiing is somewhat dangerous, so never ski at the beginning thinking you can learn it on your own, ou really need an instructor or at last someone who can watch over you just like driving, never think that you can learn it on by yourself!

on a nice day (not snowing) you dont need to wear goggles. It's a bit of a hassle pa nga kasi nag fo-fog yung goggles. But it's a different story if it snowing. Stay on the green zone (beginners slope)... I'm not sure if the color coding is the same for all countries. All the gears(ski, stocks, boots and clothing) can be rented out in the ski resort. Make sure that your travel insurance covers skiing activity. Your normal travel insurance does not cover risky sports activity. It is very expensive to be treated in a hospital if you are a tourist.
