Meron di nakakalam lalo na yung nasa kabila.
Una .. ang commandments ay walang bilang isa hanggang sampu sa bibliya. Ang sampung utos ay binubuo ng higit sa sampung "imperatives" Narito ang listahan ng higit sa sampung imperatives ng ten commandments ayon sa Exodus 20: sa wikang englis 2 You shall not make for yourself a graven image... 3 You shall not bow down to them or serve them... 4 You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain... 5 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. 6 Six days you shall labor... 7 In it [the seventh day] you shall not do any work... 8 Honor your father and your mother... 9 You shall not kill. 10 You shall not commit adultery. 11 You shall not steal. 12 You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor. 13 You shall not covet your neighbor's house 14 You shall not covet your neighbor's wife... Kailangang isaayos ang mga "imperatives" na ito upang mabuo ang sampung utos. Inayos ng protestanting si Calvin ang "impeartives" ng ganito. 1 I am the Lord thy God, thou shalt have no other gods before me. 2 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image. 3 Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain. 4 Remember the Sabbath Day to keep it holy. 5 Honor thy father and thy mother. 6 Thou shalt not kill. 7 Thou shalt not commit adultery. 8 Thou shalt not steal. 9 Thou shalt not bear false witness. 10 Thou shalt not covet. Ang katoliko ay ibinase ang pag-sasaayos ng sampung utos ayon sa pag-sasaliksik ni san agustin (ikalimang siglo) sa kanyang librong "Questions of Exodus" ("Qućstionum in Heptateuchum libri VII", Bk. II, Question lxxi) at pinagtibay ng council of trent, sinusunod din ito ng mga lutherans, maliban sa school ng Bucer. Narito ang pag-sasaayos ng Katoliko mula pa ng ika-limang siglo hanggang sa ngayon. 1 I am the Lord your God: You shall not have strange Gods before me. 2 You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain. 3 Remember to keep holy the Lord’s Day. 4 Honor your father and mother. 5 You shall not kill. 6 You shall not commit adultery. 7 You shall not steal. 8 You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor. 9 You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife. 10 You shall not covet your neighbor’s goods. Ang pagsasayos ng unang utos ay patungkol sa huwad ng pagsamba at pagsamba sa huwad na diyos ay iisa. Nakakatuwang isipin na ang pagsamba sa ibang diyos at pag-gawa ng imahe ay hiwalay na kasalanan. Pansinin nyo rin na ang you shall not covet at you shall not steal ... ay pareho ng kahulugan. Kung susundin ang sampung utos ni protestanteng calvin ... ang unang magkakasala sa ikalawang utos na "Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image" ... ay si Moses mismo na gumawa ng imahe ng ahas, sunod si haring solomon na gumawa ng imahe anghel sa templo. Alamin ... wag pasaway .... Katoliko hindi matitinag ... 2000+ years and alive --------------------  |

Sa old testament pa iyang sampung utos...
Sa new testament sa panahon ni Kristo, binago na ang sampung utos... 'You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.' "This is the great and foremost commandment. "And a second is like it, 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' On these two commandments depend the whole Law and the Prophets." meron po...intindihin mo lang yung sagot. itong sasabihin ko ang out of topic....kaya daw di nasusunod ng mga christians ang sampung utos, dahil kung umutos ang dyos eh sampu sampu agad, dapat isa isa lang...  ..*uy jk lang po yun lord...I always believe in YOU! -------------------- Life is sexually transmitted.

I am not against the concept that JESUS incorporates the old 10 laws to the new 2 laws ... Ang sinasabi ko lang ... is why may mga sektang ... too much emphasis on the 10 old laws ... while not concentrating on the new 2 laws .... which is more appropriate to follow in our times This post has been edited by semper meus dominus jesu on August 06, 2006 02:22 pm -------------------- |

what i mean here is ... yung utos "to make a bronze serpent" was not part of the 10 laws .... when we are only discussing the 10 laws -------------------- |

hindi naman nabago fulfilled lang ayon sa sulat ni San Pablo sa mga taga Galacia mayroong dalawang ibinigay ang DIYOS sa TAO una ... PANGAKO ... binigay nya kay ABRAHAM pangalawa ... UTOS ... binigay niya kay moses Ang UTOS na ibinigay ng DIYOS kay MOSES ay para sa paghahanda sa pagdating ng pangako. Ito ang nagsilbing gabay o patnugot natin tungo sa pangako ng DIYOS. Ang pangako ng DIYOS kay abraham ay natupad sa pagdating ni HESUS sa pagdating ng PANGAKO ... sabi ni San Pablo ... hindi na tayo sumasailalim sa patnugot. Kung gagawin mo ang dalawang commandments of LOVE ni HESUS. nagawa mo na rin ang sampung utos ... o mas higit pa. TANDAAN: Kapag tinupad mo ang sampung utos ... maY hihilingin pa si HESUS sa iyo ... "COME FOLLOW ME" Kapag tinupad mo naman ang commandments of LOVE "YOU HAVE ALREADY FOLLOWED JESUS" ================================ JUSTICE . MERCY . FAITHFULNESS .
